An article posted here states that Keira Knightly could be joined by David Thewlis in new movie entitled, London Boulevard! It reports that David was in final negotiations last night to play that role. =) Thanks to Tannim for providing this info.

There are a couple of really good articles/interviews with David to pass along. The first one is located here where Thewlis discusses his role in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and touches on issues dealing with the upcoming "Harry Potter" films, Veronika Decides to Die and his writing. The second article is an interview with David Heyman (producer of the "Harry Potter" films & BITSP), and can be found here. This one mainly focuses on the reasons behind the prolonged release of HBP, but David is also briefly interviewed!

The British Independent Film Awards nominations were announced today and David is the recipient of this year's Richard Harris Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Actor! Thank you to Helia for providing this wonderful news!!

According to the official site for the Independent Film Company, David has officially signed on to appear in Mr. Nice, along with Chloe Sevigny and Rhys Ifans :). Thanks to Mandi for providing this awesome info!

David has been nominated as "Outstanding Actor TV Series Drama" Category at the '2008 Monte arlo TV Festival' for his dual roles as Joe & Harry in The Street series 2, episode 1! Thanks to Tannim for providing the information.

There is going to be a premiere of the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas at the 2008 Heartland Film Festival on October 16th!! According to this site, David will be attending along with John Boyne & Mark Herman. :) Check out the site for more details on cost of admission etc.

There is news confirming that David will be returning as Remus Lupin in the 2-part Deathly Hallows films, but his role will be very minor :( You can read more about it here.

I've been having some computer problems for a while so I wasn't able to update until now. I've got a couple of new things to share.

I. First there are new pics featuring Lupin in the 2009 Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince calendar here (thank you Viccy) for providing the info!

II. There is a bigger and better high resolution promo of David from the upcoming HBP film located here!

III. According to the Irish Times, David will be appearing at the premiere of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas on September 4th (thank you Helia) for providing this info :).

There is some exciting movie news to report regarding Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince! I first read about this news in a number of posts by David via the T.R. Forum and then did a little investigating of my own. The official teaser trailer was released on July 29th and you can watch it by clicking here.

Also released are some HBP trading cards showcasing a number of scenes from the film, one revealing the first real picture of David as Remus Lupin and you can check it out via this link (second one down on the left)!

The first pictures of David portraying Dr. Blake in the upcoming film, Veronika Decides to Die have been posted at the T.R. Forum, with info of a tentative US release date of March 6, 2009. Also According to Velvet Octopus, footage from the film will be available to view at the Toronto International Film Festival (September 4th - 13th) and at the American Film Market in Santa Monica, CA (November 5th - 12th)!! No official confirmation of these viewings on either film festival website as of yet. All of this exciting news has been provided by Mandi :)
