I began my love for fanlistings back in July 2005. I started out soley joining different fanlistings and adding them to my then, free website. That worked out well until I decided I'd like to create some fanlistings of my own. There were many subjects that I had a deep love for that were not yet listed, so I began creating. The biggest problem standing in my way were the lousy ads they put at the head and bottom of free websites :( Use of php files were not allowed either!

After quite a long time of dealing with these problems I began searching for someone who would be willing to host my site (which had gotten fairly big by then). While browsing through the TFL.org message board I came across a thread offering hosting to people. I quickly replied and the rest is history! My wonderful host Tash faithfully hosted my collective for 2 1/2 years. She was an amazing help to me, converting all my fanlistings to the Enthusiast script along with many other things and I can't begin to thank her enough.

In March 2008 Tash decided to leave the Fanlistings world behind so I had to look for my own domain, and I'm really excited that I did! The whole process was very foreign to me and I learned a great deal from doing it. I signed up for hosting via Surpass Hosting and registered my domain with Go Daddy.

I have to sincerely thank Christina from the bottom of my heart for her help as well. She walked me through installing Enthsiast 3.1.3 and showed me a great deal regarding the cPanel etc. Christina, you are truly a Godsend and I can never thank you enough for your patience, kindness and the time you spent with me- thank you <3!!

My collective name, "Cloud & Shade" comes from the lyrics of my favorite song from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, entitled Steward of Gondor.
